How the Booth got in the Booth House
National meets International!
Always on the lookout for new friends and contacts around the country, members of the Paranormal Investigators Coalition including Russ Notatel, Ron Peacock and me, Vince Wilson, visited the International Museum of Spiritual Investigations.
It was good to see others so close to us trying to accomplish the same goals.
Reports from the Haunted Cottage
Before we moved into the Booth House, we had heard of many stories coming about the property. Many of these stories come from the local residents.
Footsteps in the slave quarters
INVESTIGATORS: Vince Wilson
DATE: March 3, 2010
TIME: 2:58 AM
This audio file I recorded was done when I had gotten up to get a drink from the kitchen. If you look at the floor plans (click here), I began this experiment in the library area which is directly under the slave quarters. I initially was a bit unnerved, but gathered my senses quickly. At first I couldn’t tell if perhaps there was a burglar, so I called out and received no response. The footsteps came down to about halfway down the steps. This is when I ran to get my digital voice recorder.
Overnight Investigation of the Booth House
Notorious assassin John Wilkes Booth rented this property as a summer home. Is it he or someone else that still haunts this mysterious house? Here is your chance to find out!
Join Vince Wilson and others from the Paranormal Investigators Coalition on their quest to solve the mysteries of Harpers Ferry’s most haunted house – The Haunted Cottage! Now, also home to America’s premiere paranormal training facility and The National Paranormal History Museum.

Inauguration at The Haunted Cottage
This season’s Supernatural Seminar did not go as well as planned. There was lots of rain, wind and power failures. Many of the attendees canceled due to either the weather or because they wanted to go to one of the other conferences this weekend. One in Virginia Beach and the other in Gettysburg. C’est la vie!
Grand Opening was HUGE SUCCESS!
A lot of fun was had this past Saturday when we had our GRAND OPENING! More than 100 people Katie from Katie’s Cakery came by with a Booth House shaped cake! It was awesome! Later we had two seances which really were the most fun had by all. We hope to see more people each and every day now!
