This season’s Supernatural Seminar did not go as well as planned. There was lots of rain, wind and power failures. Many of the attendees canceled due to either the weather or because they wanted to go to one of the other conferences this weekend. One in Virginia Beach and the other in Gettysburg. C’est la vie!Our next Supernatural Seminar will be in July. We will post a list of speakers very soon!
So, we had a little smaller attendance then expected. Since we lost power in the conference center, we decided to move the Seminar to the Booth House. After that, we all had a very good time. The lectures continued and some great debates and points were made. The highlight of the day though was when Dale Kaczmarek, a pioneer in paranormal research, was inaugurated into The National Paranormal History Museum.
Dale Kaczmarek is President of the Ghost Research Society and director of Excursions into the Unknown, Inc., the only year-round ghost tour of haunted Chicagoland locations.
Kaczmarek has been actively investigating ghosts, hauntings and poltergeist phenomena since 1975 and is active in a number of organizations including: American Association for Electronic Voice Phenomena, Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained, International Fortean Organization and the prestigious Ghost Club of England.
His website www.ghostresearch.org is one of the most active of its kind anywhere in the world.
Kaczmarek has appeared in numerous books, publications, newspapers and periodicals. He has been a guest on “Oprah”, “Encounters”, “Sightings”, “The Other Side”, “Rolanda”, “Mysteries Magic and Miracles”, “Exploring the Unknown”, and was called on by the “Discovery Channel” to help produce and appear in two segments; “Real Ghosthunters” and “Phantom Photos”.
After the the inauguration we began an investigation of the Booth House that lastedwell into the night. Results are forthcoming.
One Response to “Inauguration at The Haunted Cottage”

Very much into old houses. What does it cost to spend a night. Will have to check it out.
Thank you Henry
