Bio: Vince Wilson has always been interested in science, history, and the unexplained since as far back as he can remember. Together with a long-time high school friend, he founded the Baltimore Society for Paranormal Research. He soon set his sites higher and formed the Maryland Paranormal Investigators Coalition -- a collection of groups dedicated to serious paranormal research and scientific observation. Wilson is the author of Ghost Tech and Ghost Science. He has lectured on ghost hunting technology and has also appeared on all the major local TV stations in the Baltimore area and on numerous radio stations in regards to his work in paranormal research. He has also been featured on Creepy Canada in 2005 aboard the USS Constellation and the Discovery Channel in 2006 for an investigation he did at the Edgar Allan Poe House in Baltimore. He lives in a possibly haunted location in Harpers Ferry.

More seating and more comfort!
September 9th, 2010The Haunted Cottage has added more seating for more comfort for our guests and visiting researchers. These pews came from a church in Charles Town that had recently upgraded its own pews with a more traditional look. As you can see in the gallery below, the pews are padded for extra comfort. Our new maximum capacity for the Training Center is now almost 40!

September 3rd, 2010A guest at The Haunted Cottage in Harpers Ferry witnessed a very strange occurrence. A door opened from a closed, latched position while we watched.

September 3rd, 2010We recorded this on the morning of August 25th 2010. Several investigators who were here on an overnight investigation were present during the recording. You will hear their voices asking the questions, however, you will also hear a faint conversation taking place in the background.

Mysterious Mist at The Haunted Cottage!
July 12th, 2010Debbie Shives of The Maryland Society of Ghosthunters took this picture at The Haunted Cottage on June 26th, 2010.
Debbie had this to say, “When we were on the 3rd floor we experienced very high EMF readings (using your equipment at the time). I took pictures at the time of the spikes but got nothing. I took this pic outside of the house on June 26th during our investigation there.”
What do you think is in it? Whatever it is (no one was smoking on this warm June evening) don’t call it ectoplasm! We’ll settle for “mysterious” for the time being.
